Entry #1: What is Journalism to Me

To me, Journalism is a place where I can express myself. With the current improvements with technology and a new-media platform popping up every day, we are given the liberty to express ourselves via a blog post, Instagram photo and even a 140 word tweet.

Be it Blogspot, Wordpress, Livejournal, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram and Pin Interest (which is rising to the occasion), these are platforms which are mostly used. But I think we should also pay homage to the “older generation”- Prints.
Newspaper, Magazines, Flyers, etc.
I mean seriously, what would I do without the beautiful glossy cover page of each and every Mens’ Health?!

Good journalism, I think, represents life and if you try to organize something too neatly it usually blows up in your face and doesn't really happen the way you want it to.
